2009 APWA CHICAGO METRO CHAPTER CONFERENCE & EXPO
Each year APWA Chicago Metro Chapter Conference & Expo offers Standard Equipment the opportunity to showcase their products. This year's show featured the new Vactor 2100 Plus, which is available for purchase through the Northwest Municipal Conference's Joint Purchasing Agreement, and new Elgin Megawind, as well as an Envirosight Truck Mounted Camera System, ODB Leaf Collector, and Tennant Sidewalk Sweeper.
The new Vactor 2100 Plus was on display at this year's show. This unit has been re-designed to increase productivity as well as being more ergonomic. This unit is currently available for purchase through the Northwest Muncipal Conference's 2009 Suburban Purchasing Cooperative Program.
The City of Elgin deserves special recognition for being the first customer to purchase the new Elgin Megawind street sweeper. Representatives from the City were in attendance and were able to see their new sweeper on display.

2009 marked the first year that Standard Equipment Company's Rebuilt & Rental Department exhibited at this event. Attendee interest was overwhelming! Visitors were able to examine Standard's used sewer equipment inventory, discuss their equipment needs with their sales representatives, and special "Show Only" finance rates were offered.
